Aimee and JD have been busy. Not only are they expecting their first child, but they just bought a new house and a new car. Oh and they got married too, all in the last two weeks! I have had the pleasure of photographing not only their engagement, and wedding, but Aimee and I have started doing a series on her maternity as well. Here are some of my favorite pictures of this fast moving couple on their wedding day.
My lovely friend Kristen was kind enough to get back in her beautiful wedding dress for a photo shoot at the Bella Sera Event Center. Here are a few of my favorites.
My favorite girl, Kristen, just got married in Monterey California. My husband Mike and I had the pleasure of being part of the wedding party. It was lovely to attending and participate in a wedding without a camera for a change! Mike grew up in Marin County, just north of San Francisco, so we took a few extra days to visit family as well. Here are some pictures from the trip.

A gorgeous early summer day and a group of rowdy friends celebrating the love of Shawna and Brian, made for a fun wedding. The pair got married at the Chateaux at Fox Meadows on May 31st. We set up a “first meeting” between the two of them before the ceremony, so that we could get most of the formal pictures done early. Everything went off perfectly, and I got some great shots of this very sweet couple and their friends and family.
Tis the time of year for weddings, yes, but it is also the time of year for anniversaries! I always love it when a couple that has been together for decades is still so in love that they want to renew their vows to each other. Rick and Collette are that couple. Surrounded by their children, grandchildren, friends, family, and even the minister that married them; Rick and Collette renewed their vows to each other.
Barbara is one of those brides that I love. She is adorable, sweet, excited and happy. It is easy to see why Danny loves her so much. Their wedding was a pleasure to attend and fun to shoot. Danny and Barbara set aside a lot of time for pictures, enabling us to get some really fun shots in and around the Westin Hotel. Here are a few of my favorites.
Barbara and Danny also had a money dance as part of their reception. For those of you who are not familiar with the money dance, it is a dance in which you have to pay a little money to dance with either the bride or groom. Fun and beneficial for the happy couple!

My parents had their 40th wedding anniversary on December 28, 2008. Being in the wedding industry myself, I felt a certain pressure to come up with just the right gift for the two best parents in the world. I thought, “Well, what am I good at?”. The answer is, of course, pictures. I tried to remember if I had seen any of my parents wedding pictures around and realized that I could only remember one. It’s a great shot of my mom, but I wondered if there might be more. I asked my dad and he told me that he had quite a lot of pictures, they just happened to be slides. “Could you transfer them to a cd?”, I asked. (Transferring old pictures to digital is one of my father’s favorite things to do) A couple of weeks later I got the disc in the mail and I made a wedding album from the scanned images. He loved it so much he asked me to make one for his sister, my aunt, who got married just six months after him. Their 40th wedding anniversary is June 28, 2009. Here are the page layouts for their album. The cover is one photo that wraps all the way around the hardback cover, then there is the first page. After that you are looking at two page spreads, until the last page, which is a single again.
Bart and Richa had a beautiful, intimate ceremony at the Chateaux at Fox Meadows on May 30th. This low key and easy going couple were a pleasure to shoot. I loved that Richa and Bart changed into traditional Indian wedding wear for the reception.
Rachel and Wesley got married on May 15th at the Dove House of the Lionsgate Event Center. I had the pleasure of shooting their wedding with a good friend of mine, Michelle. Rachel and Wesley are so obviously in love that their pictures turned out great. Check out a few that I took.
